Studio Manager/Lesson Readiness Instructor Bio
William has been a very supportive partner and has been deeply committed to his wife, doing everything he could to champion her personal and professional development since their early years together. In the cut-throat and demanding entertainment industry, William stepped up to see that every show was smooth sailing..equipment set, décor out, contracts followed and that his wife is paid. Little did he know that in his wife’s thriving studio he would be taking on the same responsibilities for her to be able to strictly focus on teaching – a job that he once told Jamie she would be good at and she replied that she would try. As the studio has experienced tremendous growth with many students preparing for competitions and performing in the community, William has happily taken on his calling as manager for this first-rate studio – organizing, marketing, driving, videoing and doing everything it takes to live up to its name under the prestigious designation of a Steinway Educational Partner. After forming relationships with many students joining in on games and for competitive track students, reading off the judging criteria and holding mock auditions in lessons, Jamie gave him her curriculum for lesson readiness - a phenomenal class for ages 3-5 - and a great way to get some people off her waitlist and into the studio faster!
Is Lesson Readiness For You?
In Lesson Readiness, your child will learn the basics of what he is looking to pursue – for example, a future piano student will learn the parts of the piano and how it is made; a future voice student will learn about how to care for the voice and how tones are produced. Your child will also become more comfortable with the alphabet, numbers, lines versus spaces, right versus left, practice good technique such as singing posture or piano positioning, moving to music, simple math and learning rhythms. All of this is done through games – and has without exception led to the student enrolling in lessons when ready.
